SUMMARY OF TEACHING:
There are periods of time when there is such a zeal of heaven to partner with someone that will be in union with God to fulfill His purposes in the earth. It is time for us to start walking in the prophetic orders and not only talk about them. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him in the Spirit and in truth. The Holy Spirit, living on the inside of us, enables all of us to move in the prophetic (to some degree). The Spirit of Prophecy gives us knowledge and understanding of the purposes of God. The goal is for us to understand the plans of God so that we can align ourselves and help others align to God’s plans.
David - being a prophet, a priest, a king and a warrior - made it his one desire to seek the Lord. Whatever we set our focus on will fill us. If we focus on the things of this world, such as money, the light cannot penetrate and darkness takes its place within us. When we focus on Jesus, light floods into our inner being. The light represents the teachings and revelation of Jesus Christ. We stand in the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into His likeness. We should be shining the brightest in the darkest situations.
When The word of God is the main thing that we feast on, meditate on and talk about, we become like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bears much fruit in its season. Daniel knew to pray and fast for 21 days, because he knew of the word that prophet Jeremiah had prophesied years before. The people that have the most prophetic flows and encounters are normally people that are students of the Word of God. They spend as much time as they can in prayer and in the Word. Having a high value for the Word of God, enables us to operate in higher levels of the prophetic. Prophetic words need to be tested and measured by the Word of God. We do not see as we should, because of veils covering our eyes. We need to ask the Lord to anoint our eyes and we need to wash our eyes with the waters of the Word.
The Lord is looking for people that want to know Him. The goal is for us to become friends of God. He shares His secrets with His friends. Because of our nearness and dearness to the Lord, the Lord is going to be able to reveal His plans - for us, for others, for nations and for governments - to us. We will be able to receive visions from the Lord and make it plain to others. When God promises something, He is going to bring it to pass. Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come to pass. Stay faithful to the Lord.
